Dunelm, which sells bedding, curtains, furniture, beds and mattresses, was rumoured to be taking over the vacant unit earlier this year.
Jobs are still being advertised on the retailers website for store managers and new staff in the town.

Hide AdNow a planning application has been submitted to Horsham District Council for Dunelm branding and signs for the currently empty shop in Lower Tanbridge Way.
The County Times has approached the retailer for comment.
Department store Beales closed its doors last month.
Dunelm currently has stores in Eastbourne, Hastings, Shoreham, and Rustington.
