Hide AdBuckswood claims to offer 14 types of qualifcations in 79 subjects and says it should not be compared to other schools.
But many of these are not accredited by qualifications watchdog Ofqual.
A spokesperson for Buckswood said: “We are proud and passionate about our school differences and our pupils.
“Factoring in the International make-up of the student body, the accurate A*-C pass rate for the school is 57%, with Maths at 65% and, after this year’s English debacle, English at 62% (2011 85% and 2010 75%); but there is so much more to a Buckswood Education than 5 GCSEs .

“This bespoke approach is appreciated by discerning local parents and families around the world.
“Most students have at least one GCSE under their belt before they start their GCSE courses in year 10 and many students sit exams early or take the harder IGCSE– all of which are not recorded in the league tables.
“380 students learn 3 languages, of which there are 14 to chose from. Where else locally could you find Arabic or Dutch, further maths, critical thinking and photography?
