Casualties taken to hospital after two crashes near Henfield
South East Coast Ambulance Service said it was called to reports of a road traffic collision on the A281 near Woodmancote at 7.45am.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that there had been ‘two separate’ collisions, the ambulance service said.

Hide AdThe ambulance service said one person was taken to Worthing Hospital and at least one other casualty was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
A spokesperson said: “Another patient was checked over at the scene and did not require hospital treatment.”
The road was blocked whilst the incident was ongoing.
Sussex Police has been approached for more information.
