Crackdown After Robberies
Police are not ruling out the possibility that the two could be linked.
Thresher's in Station Parade was the latest to be hit, when a man with a knife demanded cash on Wednesday night.

Hide AdHe struck at 8.50pm and made off with 80 in cash. The female shop assistant was very shaken and had to be taken to a nearby shop to be comforted.
Around 375 was taken from neighbouring store Alldays six days previously, this time by two men, one of whom had a knife.
Inspector David Richards, of Highdown police said: "We are concentrating our efforts to trace whoever carried out these robberies.
"There will be extra officers in the East Preston area to help trace witnesses and in order to provide public reassurance."

Hide AdThe Thresher's robber is described as white, of slim build, 5ft3in to 5ft4in tall and aged between 17 and 23 years old.
He has short brown hair, was wearing black clothing, had a black scarf over his face and black gloves.
The two Alldays robbers struck on Thursday, September 12, at 9.10pm, they both wore balaclavas and are believed to be local teenagers.
The first wore a green bomber jacket and wielded a knife, the second was very slim and wore a white hooded sweatshirt.
