Firefighters' strike action called off

Hide Ad“However, talks between the Government and FBU in the last few days have made enough progress for the union to call off Saturday’s strike action.
“West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service has contingency plans in place to maintain our services in the event of staff shortages, including industrial action, but we will now resume normal working and hope that further meetings between both parties can reach a final agreement.”
