GENERAL ELECTION: Voters go to the polls in Bognor Regis and Littlehampton
National opinion polls have shown Conservatives and Labour neck and neck over the last few days, and even if one party emerges the winner, neither are expected to have a majority of MPs in the House of Commons.
Candidates in Bognor Regis and Littlehampton are Alan Butcher (Labour), Nick Gibb (Conservative), Graham Jones (UKIP), Simon McDougall (Green) and Francis Oppler (Liberal Democrat).

Hide AdIn 2010’s general election 46,852 people cast their votes in Bognor Regis and Littlehampton – a turnout of 66.2 per cent.
Polls open at 7am and close at 10pm, with Arun District Council elections running alongside the national poll.

In 2010’s general election Sussex returned 13 Conservative MPs, two Lib Dems and one Green, with six seats changing hands.

According to the Met Office voters heading out today can expect a dry and mostly sunny day across Sussex.
