Have a say on plans to re-energise Worthing’s ‘tired’ centre
On Wednesday, Worthing County Local Committee (CLC) will be hosting a public event, where locals can view plans and ask any questions regarding the Montague Place paving improvements.
A county council spokeswoman said: “Montague Street is the busiest street in Worthing with pedestrians walking along it more than 6.5million times per year.

The improvement scheme is due to be carried out between January and June next year.
Those keen to find out details of the proposals are being urged to attend the drop-in event, at 5.30pm, in the Devonshire Room of the Chatsworth Hotel, in The Steyne.
The open event will be prior to the formal meeting of the Worthing CLC, where the committee will receive a presentation on next steps for the improvements as part of the formal agenda.
