Infants enjoy lion dance
The four and five-year-olds at The Glade Infant School experienced the sights and sounds of a lion dance and music performed by the Yi Quin Chinese dance group.
The display as the Year of the Rat began brought to life their learning about China and Chinese customs.

Hide AdNiall Mears (five) said simply about the performance: "It was brillant."
Neill Quilter (four) said: "It was funny when the lion rolled off the PE table".
The children have also experienced reading and listening to Chinese stories, creating lanterns and masks, cooking and eating Chinese food and learning Chinese dances.
The Made in China project is typical of the work at the school which led Ofsted inspectors to compliment head Lin Chaplin about the imaginatively planned and innovative curriculum.
