Littlehampton MP's expenses questioned
The outcome of Sir Thomas Legg's audit into the expenses furore resulted in each MP being sent a letter this week, detailing their personal situation.
Bognor Regis and Littlehampton MP Nick Gibb said: "There is a slight technical query regarding the way payments on mortgage interest are calculated.

Hide Ad"I have been asked to supply documentation, which I am in the process of doing, and I am still discussing the final outcome. If I do have to pay anything, it is a matter of a couple of hundred pounds."
He added that other than that issue, he had been given a "clean bill of health", and that in one year he had underclaimed for mortgage payments.
Peter Bottomley, MP for Worthing West, which includes Rustington and East Preston, said he had not been asked to repay any money by Sir Thomas.
At the time of going to press, Arundel and South Downs MP, Nick Herbert, was unavailable for comment.
