Oakfest is mighty success
A DAY long music festival at the Royal Oak, Peasmarsh, on Saturday, raised more than £3,000 for the Teenage Cancer charity.
The concert was in memory of local man Andrew Dallison, who passed away in 2004 after losing his battle against a rare bone cancer. Bands gave their services for free and Phil trainer supplied and operated the PA.
Andrew’s mum described the event as “A brilliant way to honour his memory.”
