Why should it be necessary to go all that way, which takes time and expense which most of us have not got to spare. A blood test at the local surgery, which for most of us is in walking distance, makes sense. I thought we were supposed to be saving our environment, so how does sending people to a distant hospital, instead of their local surgery help? Not only are we overloading the phlebotomy service at the hospital, but also the already overstretched parking there, too. I hope this letter will encourage other patients of Westcourt and other surgeries to complain and then maybe the practise mangers may start listening. Y. Pegrum Brendon Way Rustington
