Farlington pupils plant poppies to commemorate Remembrance Day
On Tuesday November 11 the girls of Farlington Prep School planted poppies outside the New Courtyard Hall.
Inspired by the ceramic poppy installation at the Tower of London commemorating the centenary of the start of World War I, the girls placed the home-crafted poppies they had made over the half-term break in the ground to mark Remembrance Day. The Prep School also held a special Remembrance Assembly to commemorate the event.
