The RSPCA Sussex East and Hastings Branch has launched an urgent appeal for funds after being forced to close their cattery and charity shop until further notice.

The self-funded RSPCA branch rescues and rehomes hundreds of abused, abandoned and unwanted animals every year. It is still working to help animals in need while the cat rehoming centre in Chowns Hill is closed to the public.

The charity's rescuers are classed as key workers but need vital funding to continue to save animals from cruelty and neglect.
