Hide AdA campaign to stop the Post Office closing was launched almost immediately after it was revealed Post Office Ltd planned to franchise services for 39 branches, including Lewes.
Post Office Ltd said the 39 branches would be rehomed after it finds a suitable retail partner to work with.
Residents fear the franchising of such a busy branch would ‘lead to longer queues, less services offered, and an all round inferior service, which will affect businesses and individuals’.
