Pregnant woman taken to hospital after two car collision in Steyning
A pregnant woman has been taken to hospital ‘as a precaution’ after a collision involving two cars in Steyning yesterday (March 24).
Emergency services were called to the incident in Bostal Road at around 12pm.
A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said no-one was trapped in the collision and a lamp post was damaged by both cars.
They added: “One pregnant woman was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.”
The scene has been made safe by Southern Electric and the incident has now been left with the police.
