Ropetackle update
The Ropetackle community facility will boast a cafe and a 250 seat auditorium. It will also be home to the Adur Enterprise Gateway, which will help businesses start up in the district by offering them support and office space.
The site had been derelict for more than 30 years, but developers Berkeley Homes are now expecting to finish building work by February next year.

Walk on the riverside walk is also well under way and artists are now producing a number of objects to adorn the streets and squares.
When finished, Ropetackle will boast a new town square, community facility, offices, shops and 180 homes.
The developers are using a range of environmentally friendly measures, including non-ozone depleting in the roofs, walls and floors, plus insulation and sound-proofing.
