SNOW DAY 2 - DECEMBER 2, 2010: Schools closed and police issue travel warning

SCHOOLS across our area have closed today (Thursday, December 2) due to the heavy snowfall overnight.

Police have also issued a warning to people not to travel, particularly motorists, unless it is absolutely necessary.

Currently, there are no trains operating in our area.
