Sparkling smiles
The event was staged by the NHS as part of national smile month. Its aim was to encourage more young people to look after their teeth and oral health.
Research has shown a link between oral health and serious conditions such as diabetes, strokes and heart disease.

Hide AdThelma Edwards, the oral health promotion co-ordinator for West Sussex Primary Care Trust, said: "It is so important that children learn good oral health habits they can continue through their lives.
"People are putting themselves at risk by not looking after their teeth and their oral health properly."
