A competition run by the historic house is asking people to strike a pose on its grand steps to be in with a chance of winning.
All entrants have to do is strike a pose – the funnier the better - either alone or in a group, on the steps of the building in West Street then tweet @EdesHouse or post the picture to Facebook.com/EdesHouse.
The closing date is August 12.

“Our afternoon teas are lovely, people won’t regret entering.
“Edes House is one of the most beautiful buildings in Chichester but people walk past our steps every day and have no idea what it is or what happens inside.”
