Eastbourne and East Grinstead have reached the Group A1/A2 August Cup Play-off final.

Ben Twine's Eastbourne side defeated Roffey by 35 runs in a low-scoring match at the Saffrons.

Eastbourne batted first and scored 159-8 from their 40 overs with Scott Lenham hitting 52. Jamie Atkins took 3-27 for Roffey.

Skipper Twine took 4-15 and Archie Lenham took 2-16 as Roffey were bowled out for 124.

East Grinstead hit 203-9 from their 40 overs against Preston Nomads with Leo Cammish top-scoring with 85 and Kashif Ibrahim taking 5-36. Nomads collapsed to 15-5 after an astonishing opening burst from Ian Sturmer, and then to 53-9 before eventually being all out for 94.

Sturmer finished with the incredible figures of 7-14.
