Waller’s side sealed a 125-run victory to leave them 15 points clear at the West Sussex Invitation League summit, with a game in hand over Ram below them.
A seventh win of the season never looked in doubt after Waller decided to bring his team in after 45 overs, having reached 235-5.

James Salisbury’s 5-55 and three wickets from Merritt-Blann then helped Broadwater dismiss Wisborough for 110 in 32.4 overs.
Skipper Waller felt it was an ideal way to return to action following a poor display against Ram in their previous game.
He said: “We didn’t play very well in our last game before a week’s break.

“Wisborough always produce a good wicket and we made the most of that with the bat.
“Everyone contributed and we got our runs quickly which gave us a chance to declare early. James and Graham then picked up some vital wickets as we secured a quite comfortable win in the end.”
Victory sets Broadwater up nicely for a huge couple of weeks now. First, they face fourth-placed Eastergate on Saturday before a clash with third-placed Littlehampton a week later.

He added: “If you had told me we would be in the position we are at the start of the season I would not have believed you.
“We’ve played some good cricket but we haven’t achieved anything yet.
“There are still four teams in with a great chance of winning this division.
