A few of their supporters were moaning saying it was alright to play. “I would have preferred to play, after a three-hour trip the last thing I wanted was to be going down there again. “But you could just not see. Maybe from the sides it looked ok, but standing in the middle of the pitch, you could not see the four corners. “It’s infuriating and frustrating, but I know the reasons for it.” Horsham were set to have dual-signed former captain Joe Shelley play for them last night with Southern Combination League side Pagham not having a game.
