Oldham dominated the game throughout, scoring twice in quick succession before the break. In the second half, the hosts netted third, before James Tilley fired home a consolation goal to make it 3-1.
Late on, the visitors added a fourth to round off a miserable day at the People’s Pension Stadium.

“Two of the goals...came from us attacking. We can’t dress it up that we got outplayed. I thought it was going to be seven or eight.
“You’ve got to hold your hands up and say they’ve done a job. Up until the last couple of games, we’ve had a good season.”

The defeat sees the Reds drop into 14th, with John Yems keen to ensure that the season doesn’t end with disappointment.
Sure enough, injuries have plagued Crawley’s season.
Whilst, Tony Craig has returned to the starting line-up and Ashley Nadesan made the bench today, Crawley’s injury list seems to be getting bigger every week, with the skipper subbed on the 50th minute mark.
“I think George [Francomb]...could be out for a while. It’s getting to nine or so. You can have all the injuries in the world, but we can’t focus on that.
“We have eight games to put it right. Eight games to play [and] 24 more points to play for”.
