Broadwater team-mates name forgotten players
Tony, third from right on the middle row, had managed to name most of the team, but six of the boys’ names remained elusive.
Luckily, two members of the team, John Cannon (front, centre) and Jim Pulford (far right, middle row), have managed to recall all the names Tony could not remember.

Hide AdJohn, of Seafield Avenue, Goring-by-Sea, and Jim, of Canterbury Road, Worthing, both identified Richard Hilder as the boy on the far left of the middle row, and Keith Coppard as the goalkeeper, with the football.
They both also named Ian Mills and Richard Tugnut as the boys on the far left and second left of the front row, respectively.
Finally, John and Jim both named the boy second from left, on the front row, as Mike Payne.
However, John managed to go one better than his former teammate, by naming Peter Taylor as the final boy, on the far left of the front row.
