The 77th staging of the popular annual event got underway in bright sunshine on Monday morning and the good weather continued into Tuesday.
Yesterday (Wednesday) morning dawned wet, but the skies soon cleared to leave another nice day and today has been similarly pleasant.

Entry numbers are very similar to last year with 121 players in the singles, 80 pairs and 50 triples.
As well as the strong local contingent, there are several players from Kent and Essex, a lot of clubs in Surrey are represented - including Cranleigh, which has supported the tournament for many years - and there are even players from Weymouth and Wales.
They will all be hoping to emulate the success of last year’s singles winner Rob Morphett, pairs champions Carl Dyer and Michael Stone, and triples victors James Henty, Brian Henty and John Pannett.
